George Monbiot endorses “Don’t Get Fooled Again”
I’m delighted that “Don’t Get Fooled Again” has been given a generous endorsement by the Guardian columnist and campaigner George Monbiot: “This is an exceptional book: rigorous, witty and beautifully-written. If you want to know how the world works, you must read it.”
Amusing, Monbiot has just admitted to having been fooled by the Climate Change scientists and is now calling for the dismissal of the head of the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia.
“I apologise. I was too trusting of some of those who provided the evidence I championed. I would have been a better journalist if I had investigated their claims more closely.”
As the books title says “Don’t get fooled again” To not be sceptical is to be gullible.

…and another premise of the book is that as human beings we’re all very vulnerable to being misled in a whole range of different ways. Best we can do is try to minimise our biases wherever possible, and do our best to correct mistakes when we see them!
